Bruce House is breathing a bit easier after receiving a $25,000 grant that is helping to sustain two key programs and even expand them a bit — at least, until November.

One year after reviving the AIDS Walk in Ottawa-Gatineau, the Canadian AIDS Society says its plan to restore the annual fundraiser to its former glory is “dead in the water” unless someone comes forward to sponsor the national event.

Six Ottawa-based HIV/AIDS organizations didn’t have their funding renewed by the Liberal government in 2016. Their transition funds just ran out and they're sounding the alarm bells.
