A cooling in the bonds market over the past month could deliver savings for Canadians renewing or taking out new fixed-rate mortgages, expert say.

Canadian economist Campbell Harvey is "very confident" that the inverted U.S. Treasury yield curve could be indicative of another recession on the horizon.
