The Federal Black Employee Caucus told the Treasury Board workers supported efforts to address racism within the public service, only to be "faced with the crushing weight of it."

The lawsuit filed in Federal Court on behalf of more than 45,000 Black civil servants alleges they have lost out on opportunities based on their race going back to the 1970s.
