A report by the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists blames lax manufacturing standards 50 years ago for a massive watermain break in Calgary last year.

The City of Calgary is considering microtunnelling to twin the Bearspaw Feeder Main, to reduce disruptions of future repairs on the line which ruptured last year.
