While tennis fans flocked to Sobey's Stadium for the National Bank Open, Tennis Canada was also celebrating a new partnership with Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Toronto.

On Wednesday, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Calgary and Area received the single largest donation in its history, $650,000 from the Canadian Progress Club.

Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) announced Wednesday it will be suspending applications for new volunteers for the majority of its community-based programs in the Calgary area.
