A woman suffered serious injuries in February after she was strangled by her scarf, which had become stuck in a motorized conveyor belt. The incident happened at a Montreal bar.

A spokesperson for the CNESST told Global News that the owner was moving cases of alcohol on a conveyor belt when her scarf became stuck in the mechanism.
