The Nova Scotia government has named NSCC Akerley campus principal Augy Jones as the first member of a panel that will examine environmental racism in the province.

The donation of $50,000 came from the Jeanine Deveau Education Equity Endowment and will establish the Wade Smith Memorial Scholarship for African Nova Scotia Youth.
