Alberta EDA becomes the first to formally request the party’s national council speed up a vote on Erin O’Toole’s leadership before the Conservatives' 2023 policy convention.

Wildrose Leader Brian Jean said he's been seeking to unite his party and the Progressive Conservatives since shortly after the 2015 election in a Friday morning interview with Global News.

Brian Jean released a video message Thursday afternoon, saying Albertans have told him to “pursue unity” and announcing he’ll be travelling across the province to ask for feedback on the creation of a single conservative party.
