A Toronto judge says a former bar owner and his manager who were convicted in a violent, hours-long sexual assault saw women as "disposable instruments" for their sexual gratification.

Jury deliberations have begun for the trial of the former College Street Bar owner and the former manager of the establishment, who face charges of gang sexual assault, forcible confinement and administering a stupefying drug.
