  Col. Leif Dahl has been temporarily removed from his command at 8 Wing and CFB Trenton following new firearm charges. OPP also recovered a second firearm from the Murray Canal.

• 2 young women killed in collision near CFB Trenton: Quinte West OPP

  OPP say two vehicles going east and west collided along Old Hwy. 2 on Sunday afternoon in front of CFB Trenton. The women in the eastbound vehicle both died.

• Woman burned in camping accident saved by firefighters, RCAF Search and Rescue techs

  Rescue crews used GPS to determine the location of the campsite, but it was practice and training that helped them bring the woman to safety.
