Trudeau calls reports of poor treatment of arrested Mi’kmaw fishers in Nova Scotia ‘troubling’
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Tuesday that reports of officers with the Department of Fisheries and Oceans arresting Mi’kmaw fishers and dropping them off hours from home without shoes or cellphones were “troubling.” Trudeau added that there would need to be a full investigation.
