Justin Bieber has arrived in Vancouver. Cue the gaggles of screaming girls.
The floppy-haired pop star – wearing a grey hoodie, black sunglasses and a baseball cap – arrived with little fanfare at Vancouver airport Thursday, days ahead of Tuesday’s concert at Rogers Arena.
He was spotted walking down Robson Street before rumours circulated about sightings in Whistler. Did the singer escape to a mountain hideaway?
Despite attempts to keep his Canadian location hush-hush, the Biebs’ cryptic tweets were deciphered by Beliebers.
“Back in canada hangin with @lordbieber and my fellow canadians! Heated toilet seats where have u gone? Haha,” Bieber tweeted Thursday afternoon.
Fans quickly discovered that @lordbieber is none other than Bieber’s dad, Jeremy Jack Bieber. “Back in Vancouver,” he tweeted. Around 6 p.m. he said: “Good eats !@ BP”
One fan, @kailaamanda, tried to make sense of Bieber’s dad’s message: “justin bieber and his dad are in a boston pizza somewhere in vancouver right now. at least i think that’s what BP stands for haha. XO.”
Vancouver indie band Said the Whale stoked the flames of Bieber fever even higher. “True story: a few people left our busking show today because @justinbieber was spotted at a nearby mall. Thanks for nothin biebs!” the band said on Twitter.
