Just after 4 p.m., police said officers were called to Royal City Park near Gordon and Wellington streets.

A body was reportedly found between a storage shed and an area surrounded by trees at the edge of the park.

The man has been identified and police say his next of kin has been notified as well.

There’ll be a large police presence and residents are being asked to avoid the area.

The investigation remains ongoing.
