Police seek suspect after man fatally stabbed in Niagara Falls

A man is dead following a stabbing early Wednesday in Niagara Falls, Ont.

Police say the victim was discovered by police and paramedics just before 3 a.m. on Victoria Avenue between Morrison Street and Simcoe Street.

Homicide detectives say the man, suffering from an “obvious stab wound,” was transported to hospital where he would later die from his injury.

It’s believed the victim was hurt amid a fight between a group of people.

Niagara Police released images of a man they’re seeking via social media Wednesday and are suggesting he make arrangements to surrender.

The suspect, still at large, is believed to have sustained a head injury during his interaction with the victim.
