New hog slaughtering plant in plans for Moose Jaw

Moose Jaw could soon see a new hog slaughtering plant by the end of the year.

Thunder Creek Pork is already looking for workers and expects to start operations soon.

The building and land was acquired by the new owners of Thunder Creek Pork in the spring. They took possession in exchange for taxes owed by the old pork plant, which was closed several years ago.
