TORONTO — The longtime partner of actor Victor Garber is getting plenty of northern exposure this week on the front cover of a Hudson’s Bay holiday flyer.
Rainer Andreesen is pictured as the dad in a family decked out for winter in the retailer’s iconic colours.
The 50-year-old is also featured inside the flyer modelling a merino sweater.
The Hudson’s Bay gig is a homecoming for the B.C. native, who has spent most of the last 15 years living in New York and Los Angeles with Garber, 64, star of TV shows like Alias and Deception and movies like Argo and Titanic.
Andreesen, who hails from Prince Rupert, graduated with honours from the art and design program at Capilano College in Vancouver and spent several years working in the advertising industry.
He eventually got into modelling, showcasing fashions by Armani, Gucci, Hugo Boss and Zegna. He is represented in Canada by Richard’s International Model Management in Vancouver.

Andreesen is a prolific artist whose paintings — mostly portraits — are collected by stars like Martin Short, Laura Linney and Ben Affleck.
In September, the model-artist accompanied Garber to Toronto, where Garber — who hails from London, Ont. — was honoured with a star on Canada’s Walk of Fame.
The Hudson’s Bay flyer with Andreesen was distributed Nov. 23 in newspapers across Canada.
