VANCOUVER – Charges have been laid against a 16-year-old accused of taking pictures of a gang-rape at a Maple Ridge rave and posting them on the Internet.
The Maple Ridge teen has been charged with distributing and producing child pornography. He is expected to appear in court Wednesday.
Police said they believe "several" males took part in the sex assault against a 16-year-old girl in Pitt Meadows during a rave earlier this month.
There may have been 10 to 12 people watching the attack take place, said police.
