Youth missing from Saskatchewan foster home

UPDATE: Youth missing from Sask. foster home found

SASKATOON – Mounties are turning to the public for help in finding a missing youth.

Ryley Ahenakew, 12, was last seen leaving his school in Hague, Sask. at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday.

He did not return to his foster home and was reported missing two-and-a-half hours later.

Ahenakew is Aboriginal, 5’2”, 120 pounds with brown eyes, dark brown hair with gold studs in both ears. He was last wearing a royal blue bomber style winter jacket, blue jeans, black high top running shoes and a red New York Yankees ball cap.

Police believe he may have been headed to Saskatoon.

Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Ryley Ahenakew is asked to call their local police or RCMP detachment.
