MONTREAL – The Municipal Commission of Quebec announced Monday that the trusteeship of the City of Laval is coming to an end.
The city has been under the management of three trustees, Florent Gagné, Sandra Bilodeau and Sylvie Piérard, since June 3, after Laval’s municipal administration was compared to an illegal syndicate when police laid gangsterism and fraud charges against the former mayor.
