MONTREAL – Montreal police have seized about 100 kilos of cocaine and 15 kilograms of crystal meth in a series of raids in Monteal and Longueuil.
Also seized in the four raids today were five gold bullion ingots and $200,000.
Montreal police described the crystal meth seizure as a record.
Seven people — four men and three women — were arrested and police say more people may be rounded up because the investigation is not complete.
The raids stemmed from an investigation into what police describe as a major organized crime drug distribution network.
