Over the last week, forest fires have erupted in northern Saskatchewan, forcing many communities to evacuate.
As of Saturday afternoon, there are 16 active fires in the province. Eight of which are uncontained. There has been 81 fires so far in 2023, surpassing the five year average of 42.
