One driver charged after multi-vehicle crash south of London, Ont. sends three people to hospital

One person has been charged after three people were sent to hospital following a serious multi-vehicle collision south of London, Ont., Monday afternoon.

Ontario Provincial Police say emergency services responded to the scene of the three-vehicle collision on Highbury Avenue south of the Thomson Line in the Municipality of Central Elgin around 3:11 p.m. Monday.

Police say all three people suffered non-life threatening injuries.

A day following the collision, police say a 48-year-old London resident was charged with careless driving.

Highbury Avenue between Thomson Line and Carr Road was closed for several hours following the incident for police to conduct an investigation but the roadway has since reopened.
