Alberta election 2023 results: Lesser Slave Lake

Global News projects Scott Sinclair will win the seat in Lesser Slave Lake for the UCP.

Lesser Slave Lake is a provincial riding located in northern Alberta.

The riding is situated between Fort McMurray to the east and Peace Country to the west.

This riding is currently represented by United Conservative MLA Pat Rehn, who first took office in 2019. Rehn collected 5,873 votes, winning 57.69 per cent of the vote in the 2019 Alberta provincial election.

Rehn announced he won’t be seeking re-election in 2023.

Prior to the 2019 election, the NDP held the seat, with Danielle Larivee winning in 2015. Larivee is running again in 2023.

Sinclair is the UCP candidate for the riding.
