Justin is a slick young pilot who started as a Buffalo Airways ramp hand eight years ago. Now he’s one of Buffalo’s most trusted captains and trainers on the DC-4 and CL-215 waterbombers.

This season we see Justin take on some of Buffalo’s most risky jobs, including the flight of his career. Justin and three other pilots ferry two CL-215s from Red Deer to Turkey. They fly these short-haul summer planes across Canada and the North Atlantic in the dead of winter – a journey where ice on a wing could mean plummeting into the 30-foot waves below.
