Police investigating two unrelated shootings in Halifax area

HALIFAX – Police say they’re investigating two shootings that happened overnight Saturday in the Halifax area.

Halifax Regional Police say they were called to Williams Lake Road around 9:30 p.m. after shots were fired at a home.

Police say the residence was hit with one bullet that passed through a window, but no one was injured.

About four hours later, shots were fired at two homes on Moody Park Drive in Williamswood.

Police say someone awoke to the sound of gunshots and investigators determined the suspect parked in that person’s driveway and fired across the street at the homes.

No one was injured.

Police say the shootings are not related.

Investigators have not made arrests in either incident.
