Drivers heading through the Tri-Cities are having to navigate around a major closure this long weekend.
A section of the Barnet highway between Ioco and Dewdney Trunk roads is shut down until Tuesday morning as crews work to construct the Evergreen Skytrain line.

Officials say by closing the route for three days, crews avoid 60 overnight shifts to complete the work.
The route is set re-open at 6 a.m. Tuesday.
The Evergreen line is scheduled to be complete by 2016.
