WINNIPEG – A 14-year-old has been arrested and charged in connection to two attempted murders in a June 24 shooting near Sherbrook Street and Wolseley Avenue.
A car was shot at and one of the people inside was injured at about 1:30 a.m. on June 24, police said.
The 17-year-old who was shot made his way to hospital and remains in critical condition, a Nov. 5 news release said.

On Wednesday, Winnipeg police issued a Canada wide warrant for two counts of Attempted Murder.
Officers were called to the 400 block of Pacific Avenue on Friday just before noon after hearing of someone in the area, possibly armed with a gun.
The wanted 14-year-old was found hiding in the 400 block of Elgin Avenue and was arrested.
The teen is facing a list of charges and remains in custody.

The Youth Criminal Justice Act prohibits the publication of the identity of children accused or convicted of a crime unless authorized by a court.
