Marcy Rylan joined the cast of THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS as Abby Newman in April, 2010. Socialite Abby’s headstrong personality has caused frequent conflict for her parents, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
Rylan is best known for her role as Lizzie Spaulding on "Guiding Light" from 2006-2009.
Her film and television credits include "Bring It On: All or Nothing" and "Drake & Josh." She has also appeared in several national network commercials.
Rylan completed a two-year acting program at the William Esper Studio and is currently attending college on a part-time basis.
She enjoys dancing, yoga, Pilates, horseback riding, and hiking. Rylan also loves animals and would like to own a llama someday. She has a passion for community service and frequently volunteers with NY Cares and LA Works.
Rylan lives in Los Angeles with her fiancé and their son.
