Highway and road closures in Manitoba for Dec. 15

Travelers in Manitoba should be aware of the following road closures as of 5:45 p.m. Thursday:

  • Hwy 1A to Highway 240, crash, all lanes closed
  • Hwy 3, from north junction at Hwy 34 to Carman, closed.
  • Hwy 13 from Carman to Elm Creek. closed.
  • Hwy 3, from Hwy 13 to Manitou, closed.
  • Hwy 3, from Manitou to north junction at Hwy 34, closed.
  • Hwy 23, from Hwy 244 to Hwy 34, closed.
  • Hwy 23 from Miami to Hwy 244, closed.
  • Hwy 14, from Hwy 3 to Hwy 30, closed.
  • Hwy 201, from Hwy 30 to Hwy 32, closed.
  • Hwy 32, from Hwy 14 to the U.S. border, closed.
  • Hwy 23, from Hwy 3 to Hwy 34, closed.

These roads are closed due to icy roads and poor visibility.

2-4 cm of snow is expected to fall in Winnipeg today. The forecasted high is -1, and it will feel like -11 in the afternoon with the windchill.
