WEST KELOWNA — Two West Kelowna women have been arrested in connection with the seizure of 16 kilograms of bath salts, an illegal type of amphetamine drug
The packages were shipped from China addressed to a business in West Kelowna.
The contents of the parcels were described as table salt, but when the CBSA seized the packages, lab tests confirmed the packages contained methylone, a relatively new synthetic drug commonly called bath salts in the street drug culture.
The names of the two West Kelowna women are being withheld as charges have yet to be laid.
They were arrested on September 19th but both have been released from custody with charges pending.
