The Regina Police Service said the explosives disposal unit was called out the the 3100 block of Victoria Avenue to investigate a suspicious package on Tuesday around 10:43 a.m., but found a hoax device.
A property owner called police after finding a package on the property that looked suspicious, adding that there was no explanation for how the package got there.

Officers deemed the package a hoax device and said there is no potential threat to public safety.
