Residents of Williams Lake have cast their votes in the 2022 B.C. municipal election.
Global News is projecting that Surinderpal Rathor has defeated incumbent Walt Cobb in the city’s race for mayor.
Global News is also projecting that elected to council were incumbents Sheila Boehm and Scott Nelson plus newcomers Joan Flaspohler, Michael Moses, Angie Delainey and Jazmyn Lyons.
In the 2018 election, Cobb won with more than 61 per cent of the vote.
