TORONTO – Emergency crews had to use the jaws of life to rescue a man in Newmarket after an overnight crash.
York Regional Police were called to a crash on Prospect Street north of Mulock Drive after a car smashed into a house.

The man was trapped for about 30 minutes before he could be rescued and taken to hospital.
Police say he only suffered minor injuries.
