Montreal West debates
On Saturday, October 19, the three mayoralty candidates from Montreal West will debate the issues facing that town such as reducing the tax burden in the most highly taxed town on the Island and improving traffic chaos around the Montreal West train station.

Tune in to hear what incumbent Benny Masella and challengers Simon Phillipson and Asher Waldman have to say about the future of this small town of 5,000 residents nestled next to the train tracks beside the Turcot Interchange.

Pointe-Claire debates
Also invited are the two mayoral candidates from Pointe-Claire, John Belvedere and Morris Trudeau who are battling to take over from incumbent mayor Bill McMurchie, who is retiring after 15 years as mayor.

The two will debate the issues that affect the town, which include spending your tax dollars wisely, ensuring the town is free of PCBs and revitalizing the village.
