Vernon residents have voted for their next mayor and council in the 2022 B.C. municipal election and very little has changed.
Global News is projecting that incumbent Mayor Victor Cumming has been re-elected with an estimated 50.8 per cent of the vote.
Joining him around the council table, Global News is projecting that newcomer Brian Guy has been elected to council along with incumbents Kelly Fehr, Kari Gares, Teresa Durning, Akbal Mund and Brian Quiring.
