Award honours English community leaders in Quebec

MONTREAL – The Quebec Community Groups Network (QCGN) will mark the fifth anniversary of the Sheila and Victor Goldbloom Community Service Award this week.

The award celebrates individuals who have made outstanding contributions to Quebec’s English-speaking community.

This year’s recipients include founder of the Council for Anglophone Magdalen Islanders, Robina Goodwin, President of Bathshaw Youth, Judy Martin as well as filmmaker and producer, Kevin Tierney.

The ceremony will take place at Montreal’s St. James Club on Thursday and will be hosted by Global Morning News hosts Richard Dagenais and Camille Ross.

There will also be a special tribute performance to Dr. and Mrs. Goldbloom by the comedic duo Bowser and Blue.
