LAKE SCUGOG, Ont. – A search for a missing pilot has been expanded after a small plane never arrived in northern Ontario.
Authorities say the pilot’s family called after the plane didn’t get back to Hornepayne on Sunday night after leaving the Lake Scugog area.

CFB Trenton’s 424 Search and Rescue Squadron is co-ordinating the search and has a Hercules aircraft and Griffon helicopter in the area.
Authorities say there are other aircraft and boats involved as well.
