Regina-Wascana MP Ralph Goodale focused on the economy during an address to the Regina Chamber of Commerce over the lunch hour on Wednesday.
“The aftermath of last year’s severe global recession is far from over,” said the opposition house leader.
Goodale says the Liberals are committed to taking care of Canadian families through increasing childcare spaces, and building an economy that works for everyone.
“How we can deal with debt loads that are the most severe in the western world, and can we build productivity so this economy grows and thrives far beyond the recession.”
Goodale says the Liberals are also committed to revitalizing the First Nation’s University, and increasing support for the scientific research being done at the University of Regina.
