Penticton prolific offender pleads guilty

PENTICTON — A prolific offender in Penticton who was busted with a guns, ammunition and drugs has pleaded guilty to several of the charges he’s facing.

Last month, police had Andrew Robert Hardenstine under surveillance when they saw him carrying a backpack with a gun wrapped in cloth sticking out of it.

Hardenstine, 33, was arrested and police seized a semi automatic assault rifle, a loaded handgun and 133 rounds of ammunition.

A search of Hardenstine’s residence turned up two types of illegal hard drugs.

Hardenstine will be sentenced at the end of the month on four of the ten charges laid against him.
