SASKATOON – Eurydice is the first play of the semester for the University Of Saskatchewan’s drama department.
The student based production added their own twist on the classical Greek mythology written by Sarah Ruhl.
“I love Tim Burton’s work, so I designed the costumes to bring that ‘Alice in Wonderland’ feel to the set,” said costume designer Beverly Kobelsky.
The drama department puts on three shows a semester, this one with a smaller cast than most of their other plays.
Eurydice’s opening night is Oct. 9.
All shows run at 8 p.m. at Greystone Theatre on campus until Oct. 19. There are no shows on Sundays.
