Liberals keep Clare-Digby area

Liberal Gordon Wilson was elected to the Clare-Digby riding. liberal.ca

Liberal Gordon Wilson has been elected to the new riding of Clare-Digby.

Wilson is the Deputy CAO for the municipality of Digby.

Wilson is currently leading with 58.9 per cent of the vote over Clare Chambre de Commerce president and PC candidate Paul Emile LeBlanc with 27.5 per cent.

Clare has mostly been Liberal grounds since for the past 40 years, with Wayne Gaudet holding the post since 1993.
