Goldeyes general manager Andrew Collier called it an honour to be recognized.

“It’s a credit to the amount of time and effort our front office staff puts in throughout the year and the amazing support we receive from our great fans.”

The Goldeyes once again topped all independent baseball teams in attendance, with average crowds of 5,880 fans per game in 2013.

On the field, the Goldeyes finished with the fourth-best record at 56-44, but were 2.5 games short of making the playoffs and trying to repeat as American Association champions.
