Chief Whitecap park master plan

CHIEF WHITECAP PARK MASTER PLAN BOOKLET AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC ON SATURDAY, MAY 8

Citizens are invited to pick up a copy of the new Chief Whitecap Park Master Plan Information Booklet starting on Saturday, May 8.

The booklet provides information on the Chief Whitecap Park Master Plan which will be going to City Council for final approval in June, and highlights the many different elements of the park.

The booklet is available at any City of Saskatoon Leisure Centre (Cosmo, Lawson or Lakewood Civic Centres, Shaw Centre, Harry Bailey Aquatic Centre or the Saskatoon Field House), or at City Hall starting on Monday, May 10. A condensed version will also be published in this Saturday’s StarPhoenix, in the City Page (A Section). In addition, both the publication and ad will be online at http://www.saskatoon.ca (look under “˜C’ for Chief Whitecap Park).

Chief Whitecap Park is owned and operated by the City of Saskatoon. It is located south of the city on Cartwright Street and is approximately 392 acres in size.
