West Kelowna RCMP are looking for a thief who stole a pricey mountain bike Monday in broad daylight.
The crime was caught on camera just before 7 a.m. on May 3rd at the Petro Canada Station on Ross Road in West Kelowna.
The owner of the bike parked it at the door of the gas station and went inside.
The surveillance footage shows the suspect entering the store, exiting and jumping on the bike to ride away.
The man stole a $2,400 Rocky Mountain "Element 10" mountain bike, with a dark blue frame, full suspension and front and rear disc brakes.
Police are looking for a male, 5’6”- 5’7”, 140-150 lbs, clean shaven, with blonde hair and blue eyes. He was wearing blue denim shorts, a red t-shirt and a black hoodie with white graphics and the word "ekko” across the front.
