SWIFT CURRENT – Seniors in Saskatchewan are being targeted by another phone scam– this time in Swift Current.
R-C-M-P say callers are pretending to be relatives in trouble who need money to get out of jail.

They say that in some unfortunate cases, victims send money before they confirm whether or not the caller is legitimate.
Mounties say people who are targeted should get in touch with other family members to ensure they’re not being scammed.
