CALGARY- A Calgary man who was previously charged with sexual assault is facing new charges.
In June, Calgary Police charged 41-year-old John Joseph McNamara with aggravated sexual assault, for not disclosing his condition to a sexual partner. It’s believed that he has HIV, and was said to be active on dating sites.
Women who had relations with him were asked to contact police, and as a result two additional people have come forward in Lethbridge.
Those incidents happened between March and July 2012.
McNamara is now facing two additional counts of aggravated sexual assault.
