Passenger and parcel revenues from the STC are down $600,000.
Last year, STC carried 258,534 passengers and made $15.7 million in revenue. In 2008, it was $16.3 million. The government says the decrease was due to Greyhound-related impacts including declines in routes and service frequency. The impacts hurt STC’s bottom line.
Customer satisfaction rating is at 91 per cent, up from 89 per cent in 2008. There was also a 227 per cent increase in senior ridership.
