Watch: Chantal Kreviazuk talks about being a musician and a mom

WINNIPEG – Chantal Kreviazuk continues to churn out hits, both her own and writing songs for others, while raising three children with husband Raine Maida of Our Lady Peace.

The Winnipeg-born musician has released six albums of her own, has written for singers such as Josh Groban, Avril Lavigne and Kelly Clarkson and says she has about 100 songs that have never been recorded.

Meanwhile, she and Maida are raising three sports-mad boys, loving their time cheering on their kids in the gym.

“There’s nothing I’ve ever done or ever will do that compares with me watching my child be in his element, doing great at what he does,” she says.

Morning News anchor Eva Kovacs caught up with Kreviazuk while she was in Winnipeg for a fundraising event to support the Health Sciences Centre Foundation.
