PETERBOROUGH, Ont. – Four passersby are credited with saving a man’s life Friday afternoon following a two-vehicle collision at a busy Peterborough, Ont., intersection.

Two Trent University nursing students heading to the nearby mall and a pair of off-duty hospital emergency nurses immediately started CPR.

They successfully got a heartbeat before paramedics showed up and took over.

The man was admitted to hospital, but his condition wasn’t released.
