19-year-old Beckie and her 21-year-old boyfriend Johnny were driving home from a Justin Bieber concert when another driver careened into them, killing them both.
On Wednesday, the judge presiding over the case decided that driver — who was facing two charges of dangerous driving causing death – didn’t need to be punished.
Beckie and Jonny’s parents join us for Unfiltered with Jill Krop.
We also speak with Markita Kaulius, another parent who knows something about this kind of pain. She is the Founder of Families for Justice.
